Yoga at Jenstar
Yoga improves overall health and is transformational for the mind + body connection. We offer a variety of heated / hot, and non-heated yoga styles to help you find alignment and manage the daily stress that life brings.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a style of yoga that mindfully links movement to breath in a sequence of poses (asana) that start from arriving on your mat- to breath work/setting your intention, to warm-up, to standing poses, then down to the ground again for the cool down. Classes move at a moderate tempo with a “flow-like” feel as you transition from pose to pose while building strength, balance, mobility, and self-awareness along the way.
This class includes a mix of physical challenge, while also providing opportunities to slow down and reconnect with your breath. Each session weaves together deeper connection to yourself, pose alignment, and relaxation to create a well-rounded yoga practice.

Beginner Yoga Alignment | Slow Flow
Looking for a beginner-specific vinyasa yoga class? This is perfect for yoga newbies, students returning after a hiatus, or seasoned practitioners looking to slow down and refine their alignment.
Come learn the tools to build a strong foundation for your practice in this slower (yet active-paced) yoga class. Each week, we highlight alignment principles within a few key yoga poses to help participants develop greater body awareness, build mental and physical endurance, and improve balance, flexibility, and mobility.
This beginner-friendly yoga class focuses on learning proper alignment and creating a sustainable yoga practice. We often use props and offer modifications for all levels.
Yin Yoga (Deep Stretch)
Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding style of yoga designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and deep relaxation.
In this class, poses are held for 2–5 minutes, mostly in seated or reclined shapes, allowing gentle stress on the connective tissues and fascia of the body. These longer holds encourage release, support joint health, and create space for both physical and mental stillness.
Unlike faster-paced flow classes, Yin Yoga offers a quieter, more meditative experience that calms the nervous system and cultivates space to be more mindful. This non-flow yoga class is approachable for all ages, experience levels, and body types.
Viniyoga
Viniyoga style focuses on the direction of movement of the spine, the relationship between breath and movement, and the function and adaptability of yoga poses. Students will have the opportunity to explore yoga asana (poses), pranayama (breathwork), energetic awareness, bandhas (energy locks), chanting, meditation, ritual, and the study of the Yoga Sutras and other ancient yogic texts. This class incorporates both repetition and stay patterns within postures, along with short flowing sequences.
Each class begins with a specific intention designed to support the movement of energy throughout the practice and provide students with an opportunity to "drop in" and explore the many dimensions of their being. The intention also encourages reflection on how the teachings of yoga can be integrated into everyday life, bridging this ancient practice with the realities of modern living.
Viniyoga honors the authentic transmission of teachings as received from T. K. V. Desikachar and T. Krishnamacharya. Classes may include chanting seed or expanded mantras, exploring the chakras (cakras), reflecting on passages from the Yoga Sutras, or incorporating hand mudras to support the flow of energy alongside the asana practice.

Barre Sculpt + Yoga 50/50
The first half of class features a shortened version of the Barre Sculpt class, including a warm-up, planks and core work, and exercises to tone and strengthen the legs and arms using light weights and the ballet barre for support. The second half transitions into a slower, alignment-based Vinyasa Yoga flow with feel-good stretches and longer holds to help release tension and improve flexibility and mobility.
This fan-favorite class offers the perfect blend of upbeat challenge and mindful relaxation, making it approachable and enjoyable for all levels.

Relax & Restore Yoga
Relax & Restore Yoga is a gentle, no-flow yoga class designed to help you slow down, soften, and recharge. This restorative-style practice focuses on minimal physical effort, using supportive postures, breath awareness, and moments of stillness to encourage deep relaxation for both the body and mind.
Rather than moving through a traditional flowing sequence, this gentle yoga class helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and create space to simply rest and reset.
Ideal for anyone needing a quieter pace, stress relief, or intentional self-care, this class welcomes all levels of yoga experience, from beginner through advanced.
Slow Flow Yoga
Slow Vinyasa Flow Yoga offers an opportunity to practice yoga at a slower pace and take a few extra breaths between each pose. It's a great class for both beginner students and anyone wanting to move in a more mindful way. If you need or want to keep things slow, this is a wonderful class option.
While the pace is gentler, you'll still experience the flowing nature of Vinyasa Yoga as movement connects to breath- but with the longer pauses in each pose. This class creates space to build confidence, reduce stress, improve mobility, and enjoy the benefits of yoga without feeling rushed.
